Navy Pier Winter Wonderfest

For the 16th year in a row, Festival Hall at Navy Pier becomes Chicago’s biggest indoor playground. With over 170,000 square feet of rides, Chicago Blackhawks ice skating rink and giant slides, it’s sure to get anybody into the holiday spirit. Tickets and more information can be found here.

The Nutcracker

The New Philharmonic Orchestra and Chicago Festival Ballet are putting on The Nutcracker at McAninch Arts Center on Dec. 17th and 18th. Tickets can be purchased here.

Lincoln Park Zoo

Lincoln Park Zoo will be featuring holiday lights, ice carvings, music, carousel and train rides and food from Dec. 9-23 and Dec. 26 to Jan. 1. Schedules and other information can be found here.

Holidays Around the World

Holiday Train Ride

A one hour round trip train ride through  downtown Chicago from Union Station at Jackson Boulevard. The train’s final day of operation is Jan. 1. Tickets can be purchased and schedules can be viewed here.
